1) Hi, do you sell replacement batteries for 15" Mac Book Pro's (silver keys version)? If so, for how much and would I be able to pick it up from your address (delivery's no good as I fly out of the UK on Mon). 

2) I'm considering getting a larger hard drive for my uni body alluminium macbook pro.
Do you perform installations? If so, how much would this cost? Also, are you certified Apple technicians? My extended warranty depends on this.

3) i recently damaged my white mac book screen outer shell and front bezel, i was assured by the company i bought it from it was an easy fix and i could replace it myself with the new parts that i purchased. i have disassembled my macbook to repair it and it has now come to a point where i cannot do it. everything is electronically fine and i have all parts, it just needs reassembly. are you guys able to do this for me and how much would it cost.

4) The motherboard of my Macbook is damaged and also the plastic cover around the keyboard probably needs changing as well.

5) HI; I have been given an old mac mini. It was used at the school I currently work in. They were throwing them out and so I gave it a home it has a power pack but doesnt seem to turn on at all. I was wondering how much would it cost for you to have a peek and diagnose the problem for me

6) I have a problem with my 2007 macbook pro. The keyboad and trackpad are unresponsive (90% of the time). The light on the caps lock does not even come on. I found a temp fix here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1365569 Putting some card between the battery and the computer worked for a couple of weeks but now it won't work again. From what I have read, it needs a top assembly replacement. It is no longer under warenty. Can you give me an idea of how much you would charge me foor this kind of repair? Thanks for your help,

7) We are experiencing several problems with our intel Imac 7.1 (OS X .5.7 and 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo. 4gb 667 MHz) Where to start? Problems with iPhoto library and duplicate images (had this before on a power mac a couple of years ago and spent days finding and deleting ) Sharing to iTunes from iMovie, keychain issues with Jayne's mail accounts. Apple TV (pah!!) etc etc. We're members of YMUG but rather than post questions and filter answers we'd rather someone just fixed it for us! Jayne has spent ages on the iMovie problem over the last couple of days but to no avail. If these are issues you can help with (in the home) please advise. 

8) My iBook G4 is late 2004 14" with 1.33ghz procIts running OSX 10.3.9, but I want to upgrade to 10.5 Lepoard, but I think this may need a 1MB ram upgrade. Could you give me a cost or advice

9) My Powermac G5 2.7 GHz 2GB RAM has always had very loud fans however they seem to be getting worse. They are loud even when running 1 application! I have tried resetting the SMU, cleaning the fans and installing a new hardrive but still nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Many thanks

 10) I am trying to locate a reputable Mac repair service in the Leeds area, and your site looks good. My Macbook was pushed off a table and I believe the screen has cracked internally (loads of colours appear when turned on). The disc drive is also making funny noises when turned on. A severe hardware fault basically. While the Macbook is still under warranty I don't believe it will cover a damage like this. Is this something you could repair? Please contact me at your earliest convenience on the number below. Today (Sunday) is fine as well if you can be bothered.

11) Hi my macbook has been playing up a lot recently. If i am using it for a while, whenever I press the backspace key, it turns itself off, it does this spontaneously also, and has started turning itself off when I use dvds and it is whirring a lot right now, and wont stop. Also, there is an X in the battery symbol and the charger suddenly wont work. I have extended warranty on this, and I havent even had it a year yet, so its in warranty. How long does it take to get it fixed? Because I really need it when I go back to university on 11th Jan

12) I have an old G5 it will not turn on- I hear it clic on but it does not start up I have not used it for over a year. I am in Sheffield and was hoping to donate and ship it to Africa to be used by a community Media Arts project in New Year.

13) My son has a 3 year old Macbook (basic entry level model), on which the HDD (120Gb) died about 4 weeks ago. During the boot process it would display a folder with a question mark within it and go no further. I used the diagnostic utilities that you can try while booting the machine, but to no avail as it kept marking all the blocks as being bad. Therefore I completely re-installed the machine from scratch using the installation disks. All was peachy for 2-3 days after this, but then it started to fail to boot again, but this time no folder and question mark appears, you just get the B&W flower logo that cycles around. No matter how long I leave it, it doesn't boot, so I assume the disk has finally given up the ghost? Therefore can you please quote me for a replacement HDD and your time to install the o/s again from the installation disks. From this I will be able to evaluate whether it's worthwhile repairing the machine or not, especially as it's so old. I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
